The Morgan Hill Freedom Fest is proud to host the Annual Veterans Day 5K/10K Walk/Run to honor the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces of the United States. In early November, you will have the opportunity to walk and run with these honorable men and women during the race and express your appreciation for their service as you finish the course with them.

We encourage participants to take a moment and say, “Thank you for what you’ve done!” Small gestures mean a lot to those who have sacrificed so much.

Morgan Hill Veterans Day Run

Please consider sponsoring the Run

You or your business will be added to the Morgan Hill Veterans Run website with a link to your website. Your logo will be placed on the back of the annual Veterans Day Run Tee-shirt and on the start/finish line banner. Following the event, we will send a thank you letter that will be posted in the Morgan Hill paper!

All race proceeds benefit our Veterans organization partners and the Morgan Hill Freedom Fest. We look forward to seeing you here in Morgan Hill!

Operation Freedom Paws empowers veterans and others with disabilities to live a quality life by teaching them to train their own dogs and certifying them as service dog teams. The very special therapeutic canine-human relationship helps them get back out in their communities and begin to view their future with renewed hope.

    Bib and T-shirt pickup is available on the day before the run at The Granary 17500 Depot Street Morgan Hill, CA 95037 on November 16 between 10- 1.

    Or on the Day of Run from 6:30am - 9am

Race Registration

Step-by-Step Directions

The children's 1 mile is from the start/Finish, 1/2 mile to a turnaround, then back to the start/Finish.

For the 5k, do the course once. For the 10K, do the course twice.

  1. Start near the parking lot to the City of Economic Development go towards Dewitt Ave. for 1 milers turn 1/2 mile from the start, then trace steps back to finish, completing 1 mile.

  2. Turn left at Dewitt, go towards West Dunne.

  3. Turn left on West Dunne and turn right on to Hale extension sidewalk towards Dewitt Ave.

  4. Turn left on Spring and go to turnaround, then go back to Dewitt Ave.

  5. Turn Right and go to West Main and turn left, toward Alley Way.

  6. Turn right at Alleyway, cross Claremont Ave., and then continue on Alleyway, cross Dewitt Ave towards Peak Ave.

  7. Turn right onto Peak Ave. towards Main Ave.

  8. Turn right onto Main.

  9. Cross the Finish line for 5k, but if doing the 10K avoid the finish line and do the course 1 more time.
